Custom Cut Rush Grass Tatami Mattress – Foldable Type

(September 2022)   We cut regular three-fold tatami to your desired size and wrap tape around the edges. How do I order? 1. First, choose the base tatami. Choose a tatami with a width the same as or greater than the width you want. 2. Then choose the style of the cut.     One cut  USD 45.     Two cuts USD 90.  Please enter the size of the finished product in the comment field. (in centimeter – Only whole numbers are accepted.) If you’d like L style, C style, or Two areas cut, please download the design sheet (PDF), draw your idea and email us before or after placing order.   Please be sure to check the following before ordering. The tatami will be cut by machine, but please allow us a difference of about 1 cm. This item will not be cancelled or returned after ordering for any reason other than defective items. It takes 2 weeks or more to make. Due to the small size limit of EMS for US customers, semi-double or larger size may be a 5-folded tatami.   Design sheet (PDF)       Due to EMS size restrictions, we are unable to send tri-fold double size packages to the U.S. We will use 5-fold double size tatami as a customized base.   This unit tatami mat can be used as a mattress. The mat has been designed to perfectly match the size of futon mattresses, allowing you to easily lay out your futon on top of it. After putting away your futon, the mat can also be used to transform your space into a simple Japanese style room or into a play space for children. The mat’s igusa straw offers many benefits, including a natural air purifying effect as well as humidity control. The mat also controls the humidity underneath the futon. Spread it out underneath your futon for extra comfort without unwanted stuffiness.                 The reason this item is lightweight and durable lies in its special needle punch processing of the backing material. Needle punch processing is a manufacturing method where overlapping thin fibers are intertwined and compressed using numerous needles, tightly bonding the fibers together. This results in a dense and durable mat with high structural integrity.         (*There is no anti-slippery material on the bottom side.)       You can’t choose between 3, 4, 5 fold of double-size. We bought the foldable tatami with a one cut ticket. The product arrived with perfect cutting size and the edges and surface of the tatami is just like an art to us. Don't even mention the smell of the tatami which makes you feel so calm that you are in the nature. The delivery was very efficient and accurate without any damage to the carton box. I would definitely recommend this product and Futon Tokyo to my friends.
